Rapamycin (Sirolimus)

mTOR inhibitor and potential longevity drug

What is Rapamycin?

Rapamycin (also known as Sirolimus) is an immunosuppressant drug originally developed for organ transplant patients. It inhibits mTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin), a key regulator of cell growth and metabolism.

Studies have shown that rapamycin can extend lifespan in mice and is being investigated as a potential anti-aging intervention.
