研究问题

Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by insulin resistance and relative insulin deficiency, resulting in persistent hyperglycemia [1].

方法

Briefly, a literature search through PubMed was conducted using the terms “sulforaphane and sarcopenia”, “sulforaphane and type 2 diabetes”, and combinations such as “muscle wasting and type 2 diabetes”, yielding a total of 52 records for initial consideration [52].;Because this study was designed as a narrative rather than a systematic review, no formal risk-of-bias or certainty-of-evidence grading was undertaken.

核心结论

1.08 μmol/g, respectively), which translates to a 15-fold increase in glucoraphanin content between these two forms of broccoli [29].;In a human kinetic study, raw consumption of broccoli led to a significantly higher bioavailability of sulforaphane (37%) compared to cooked broccoli (3.4%); also, the compound was apparently absorbed more quickly when consumed raw [30].;In this regard, the loss of bioavailability may be offset by the co-administering of exogenous myrosinase from other plant sources, as shown in a randomized crossover trial where myrosinase from mustard seeds almost doubled the bioavailability of sulforaphane (18% to 39%) when compared to glucoraphanin alone [31]. ‖ 结论:Ultimately, sulforaphane offers a promising avenue to restore muscle integrity, ameliorate metabolic dysfunction, and enhance the quality of life in individuals burdened by T2D-associated sarcopenia.
