17 Although both BD and TL have been related to stress levels independently, the relationship of stress biomarkers with TL in BD has not been studied.；In this study, the main aim was to investigate the relationship between bipolar I disorder (BD-I) and TL while trying to minimize potential confounding factors.；Furthermore, this study also aimed to examine the relationship between TL and serum cortisol levels in bipolar disorder.
方法
MATERIALS AND METHODS Participants The study was designed as a cross-sectional case-control study.；Additionally, the height (cm) and body weight (kg) of all participants were recorded in the morning again on an empty stomach, and body mass index (BMI) was calculated.；Telomere length: Lymphocyte isolation was performed from fresh venous blood samples collected in ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA)-containing tubes, followed by total genomic DNA isolation using Exgene Blood SV (GeneAll Biotechnology, Seoul, South Korea).
